How you can improve your grade on your Spelling Test!

There are two ways that you can improve the grade you received on your spelling test. You may do both, but you cannot make correction on an alternate spelling test for extra credit.

  1. On the day of the test, staple to your spelling test proof that you have practiced the spelling words for the week . This could be several sheets of paper with the spelling words written several times over or it could be a signed sheet of paper from an adult saying that they quizzed you on your spelling words. Make sure the adult marks the amount of time that you spent with them practicing. If you do poorly on the test and have shown proof that you have studied, you may take the test again in an alternate format.  If you do well on the test and have shown proof that you have studied, then you will have 3 Extra Credit points added to your score for that week.
  2. For 3 points put back onto your test, correct the words you spelled incorrectly and hand back in. This must be completed within one week of taking the test. Spelling tests will be posted on the Web site or you may use the dictionary.
